Nude Suit
I wore this suit in public to  stimulate reactions to non-sexual, public nudity and to challenge my own vulnerability about skin exposure. The suit is a deliberately naive and lighthearted representation of the naked female body and its innocence challenges reactions of offense or outrage.

Shot in a public space, the scene is intentionally relaxed and mundane, positioning nudity as natural rather than titilating or taboo.

An upcoming shoot will see the nude suit in everyday situations in London: riding the Underground, strolling in the park and shopping the markets.

The Nude Suit falls under my larger body of work on ‘Taboos’ which I explored in the final year of my UWE Graphic Design degree.

Made by hand and sewing machine.
